CURRENT MOON

I really adore your list of 100 books to read. And I really don't wanna sound like an asshole, but as you included The Bible, and I think you are right to do so as it is one of the most imporant books in history, whithout doubt, I thought you could include the Quran as well. Just as it is begining to have a greater influence on Western Literature as well. I am still working on bolding and italicsizing(?) my list. Just as another suggestion: The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky great book

That’s not a bad request at all! And I’ll totally put it on. To tell you the truth, I skimmed over The Bible when I read it on the list and I haven’t read it yet, either. And I’m very open minded about all religious things so I’ll definitely put the Quran on there. I have been interested in reading it. And I think I’ve heard of the Brothers Karamazou (it sounds familiar) but I’ll put it on the list as well :) Thank you for the recs!

And with that, I’m off to take a break from Tumblr. I need to sort… things out and deal with personal stuff so if I go MIA for awhile, know that I’m probably, maybe fine. I’m prone to getting hurt so we’ll see. I’ll still be responding to asks and whatnot but I probably just won’t be updating for a bit. Dunno how long yet. I love you all, don’t miss me too much.

100+ Movies to Watch Before I Die

And my second challenge to myself (which shouldn’t come as a surprise since I’m studying film). This is Yahoo!’s 100 Movies You Should See Before You Die: All Time Greats & Modern Classics. Plus a few I’ve added from my peers and colleagues. Like with the books, I’m challenging myself to watch all these and also like before you’re all definitely welcome (and encouraged!) to try this challenge with me, too. Same as the other list: the movies I’ve seen will be in bold. I’ll update this periodically as I watch them (and if I feel strongly on the movie I might review it, we’ll see). And if any of you have a movie you think I should have on this list, please, let me know! I’ll add it. This is entirely up to date since the modern classics only goes up to 2009 so yes, if you recommend a movie I just HAVE to see let me know! Happy watching. <3

Note: There are likely doubles on these lists.
